Agenda Item 5B <br />Environmental Board Meeting Date: July 30, 2003 <br />Topic: Apollo Center, Woodstone Builders Inc. <br />Background: This is a proposal to build a multi- tenant retail structure at <br />the SE intersection of Apollo Drive and Lilac St. The site location is depicted on <br />Attachment 1. Attachment The existing zoning classification is General <br />Business. Submitted application information is included as Attachment 2. <br />Analysis: There are no unique resources on the site. (Attachment 3). There <br />was no resource inventory submitted. The site is not located in any presently <br />designated protection zones (Attachment 4). <br />All surface water is assumed at this time to be conveyed to an existing retention <br />pond to the NW (Attachment 5). Surface water calculations should be verified <br />and a system designed to minimize excessive water volume losses. <br />A landscape plan has been submitted that shows 20 larger shade trees and <br />additional 10 smaller trees, as well as a number of plants that are appropriate for <br />the site. All sodded areas are irrigated. <br />Tanda Gretz has tabulated information on parking, impervious, and lighting <br />(Exhibit A). The parking stalls proposed exceed the minimum requirements by 1 <br />stall (without restaurant requirements). The proposal is under the maximum <br />allowable impervious surface. There is no information on lighting fixtures.
