Compaction protection (fence) is recommended on all areas not associated
with construction. NPDES standards need to be applied throughout the
process. Suggest additional gravel stockpile be available for when the rock
construction entrance fills in. No imported or exported soils should be
allowed without City approval.
Boulevard Trees
As with all previous developments, recommend one boulevard tree per
frontage, escrowed as part of the Development agreement.
Landscaping
Preliminary Grading Plan indicates rain garden plants will be planted. No
plant schedules or seeding schedules have been received. Recommend all
seeded areas acting as buffers, swales, ponds use the City native seed spec.
Recommend rain gardens be planted with plants approved by the City.
Sufficient mulch should be used in rain garden areas to attenuate rank
growth. Management organization for the group home should develop a
management plan for the raingardens. This plan should include responsible
party for the management of the raingardens, and a maintenance cycle plan.
For example, mulching and weeding will occur 1x/2x per year, etc.
Environmental Board Comments:
Options:
1. Recommend approval with suggested staff and Environmental Board
recommendations and comments.
2. Recommend Denial
Recommendation:
Option 1.
