March 9, 2004 <br />Michael Black <br />Royal Oaks Realty, Inc. <br />1090 County Road E, Suite 150 <br />Shoreview, MN 55126 <br />651 -483 -5518 <br />Dear Mr. Black, <br />Attached is the significant tree inventory you requested for the "Fox Road" site in Lino <br />Lakes, Minnesota. Our field work was performed between February 9th and February <br />19t , 2004, by Matt Gogala, Shawn Tracy, and Mark Rehder and myself all Kunde <br />Company personnel with ample experienced in tree inventories throughout the metro <br />region. In this case, we recorded species, size, and condition, and tagged each tree with a <br />unique number. The surveyors from E. G. Rud & Sons, Inc. then mapped the locations of <br />these tagged trees and produced the accompanying map. <br />The City of Lino Lakes definition of "Significant Tree" from the current Zoning <br />Ordinance was used. This is defined as "A healthy tree measuring a minimum of six (6) <br />inches in diameter for deciduous trees, or a minimum of twelve (12) feet in height for <br />coniferous trees ". No coniferous trees of significant size were found on the site. Some <br />additional areas comprised of trees less than six inches in diameter are also delineated on <br />the map. <br />We rated the condition of each tree on a one (1) to ten (10) scale, with any condition ones <br />and twos not included as obviously not healthy enough. See attached notes for further <br />details and explanations of the scale. It should be noted that --any condition three (3) trees <br />also have questionable value in a residential setting where targets of value will exist. <br />Although these tress serve a function in a natural woods, special efforts to save them are <br />
