Misc. Inventory Notes
City of Lino Lakes definition of "Significant Tree" >6 in. dbh
deciduous, >12 ft. ht. coniferous, all species, and healthy.
Three areas within the property boundaries were designated as
exclusion areas where an individual tree count was not required
because they will be beyond 50' from any proposed grading
impacts.
A gap in tag numbers and smaller total than listed here will occur
where some 20 or 30 trees within one of these exclusion areas
were tagged, but were not located by the sureyors or listed by
them.
As of 02- 19-04, 2337 total trees were tagged, including gap
mentioned.
Specimen trees are defined as 30" dbh or greater, good
condition, and single stemmed. Five trees meeting this definition
were found: tag #'s 919, 934,`1,170,1633, and 1255
Multi- stemmed trees '(forking between ground level and
approximately 5') are counted as one tree and measured by
gs summing the diameter of the largest stem plus 1, the diameter of
Iv all additional stems.
Diameters were measured using a D-tape to the nearest 112 inch,
rounding down.
Field data was collected starting on 2 -09-04 thru 2 -19 -04 by
Glen Olson, Matt Gogala, Shawn Tracy, and Mark Rehder.
