Loucks <br />Associates therefore recommends that the project proceed as planned with the following qualifications: <br />Archaeological field testing was performed only within the Area of Potential Effect. If it becomes <br />necessary to expand the APE beyond these limits, additional archaeological testing may be required. <br />If it is suspected that archaeological materials are encountered during construction operations, the State <br />Historic Preservation Officer should be contacted for further assistance. <br />3) If it is suspected that human remains or a burial area is encountered during construction or quarry <br />operations, activity in the immediate area must cease and the Anoka County Sheriffs Office, the State <br />Archaeologist and the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council should be contacted for further assistance. <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 307.08 prohibits the intentional disturbance of human burials. <br />
