Lexington None Mankato Environmental Committee Maplewood Environmental Board Recently appointed people for their new board. The environmental staff person gave them some training. They met the city council. One evening the council and environmental board had an educational evening with Jay Micheals from NEMO. The board's first meeting will be August 24, 2004. The Committee's duties include reviewing development proposals for environmental concerns, storm water quality, and forestry, providing input into the local watershed planning process, studying solid waste disposal and recycling, and providing educational programs and information to the public on environmental issues.
