As you are aware, a large <br />part of the investment in this Development pertains to the landscaping, including extensive <br />installation of native prairie plant materials, required by the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Panattoni Development Company has contracted with Lan- De-Con Inc. for the landscape <br />installation. However to ensure the prairie installation is established and maintained properly, <br />Lan-De -Con has subcontracted this portion of the installation to Minnesota Native Landscapes <br />due to their expertise in this area. The installation contract for the naturalized area on the site <br />includes one year of a maintenance program directly addressed by Minnesota Native Landscapes. <br />PDC Properties is of the further understanding that the City approval of this plan stipulates a <br />three -year maintenance program. Beyond the initial one -year maintenance program provided <br />with installation, PDC Properties will assume the responsibility of carrying out the remaining two <br />years of the required program to ensure the establishment of the native area. For your review, <br />Minnesota Native Landscapes has provided the attached management plan for the site prairie <br />which will be carried out over the three-year period. <br />Both myself and Susan Lehman of PDC Properties will be visiting the Distribution Alternatives <br />site in early May at which time we will meet with Minnesota Native Landscapes regarding the <br />implementation of this program.
