• <br />During the establishment of this planting, all live plants installed with the seeding should <br />be watered for the first growing season to ensure proper establishment. Watering should <br />take place directly after planting and during periods of moderate drought. <br />Over - seeding <br />Areas not properly established within three years should be re- seeded to fill in thin or <br />barren spots. Overseeding could also be used to increase diversity in the future to <br />improve the overall species composition. <br />Debris Removal <br />Natural, grassy areas tend to accumulate an abundance of human and natural debris. <br />Trash is discarded and easily collected in such areas and must be removed to preserve the <br />natural functions of a native plant community. <br />• <br />
