Box 189 Ellsworth, Wisconsin 54011 <br />Wetland Delineation Report <br />Lino Lakes Delineation <br />Prepared for: Comforts of Home <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota <br />December 22, 2005 <br />Background <br />Graham Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) has completed the wetland <br />delineation of a site located in part of the S' /2, SE'/, Section 31, T31N, R22W, in <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. County Highway 49 borders the property on the east. <br />County Highway 32 is located to the south. Business and residential property is <br />located to the north, south and west (Figure 1). The topography is relatively flat <br />according to the U.S.G.S. Circle Pines and New Brighton Quadrangles (Figure <br />2). On November 4, 2005, GES conducted the delineation of one wetland on the <br />property. The approximate site and wetland boundaries are shown on a 2000 <br />aerial photo in Figure 3. <br />Methodologies <br />The wetland was delineated using the methods contained in the "Routine <br />Determinations" section of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers "Wetlands <br />Delineation Manual' (Technical Report Y -87 -1, 1987). This is the methodology <br />currently used by both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for implementation of <br />Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and by local government units administering <br />the Minnesota Wetland Conservation Act. <br />GES classified the wetland under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's (FWS) <br />Cowardin system and Circular 39 methodologies. Subsequent to wetland <br />delineation field work, the flagged boundaries were located by the project <br />surveyor.
