•
•
AGENDA ITEM 6B
STAFF ORIGINATOR: Marty Asleson
DATE: November 29, 2006
TOPIC: Environmental Board Goals
BACKGROUND: At the end of each year the Environmental Board reviews past goals
and sets goals for the following year. I have attached the 2006 Environmental Board goals
that were approved by the City Council. One of the goals was to review a previous project.
The Board selected Stoneybrook.
The Board started to review the Stoneybrook project earlier this year. It was decided at that
time to wait for the developer to react to deficiencies that were called out. Now that the end
of the year is here, we should revisit this project. I have attached the Stoneybrook revisit
agenda item from the February 22, 2006 as a starting point for summarizing this project
I have also included with this report past reports and recommendations for 2006.
I think it is too dark this time of the year to have site visits before the meeting. If we were to select a
project to visit, I would recommend The Legacy Project or Marshan Meadows. If you have time
during the day it would be worth a visit. The Legacy project is the area to the North of City Hall. The
YMCA is now going up and landscaping is in from Lake Drive to the Village Green area. Marshan
Meadows is the Bruggeman Development on Lake Drive next to the Methodist Church.
I think it would be a good idea to also start writing some goal statements for 2007.
RECOMMENDATION:
Establish draft goal statements for 2007. Summarize project review.
6B1 Resolution to adopt the Environmental Board goals for 2006.
6B2 Stoneybrook Development revisit /review project
6B2i Agenda Item 5A Stoneybrook
6B2ii Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, and Easements for Stoneybrook
6B2iii Stoneybrook Wetland and Conservation Easements flyer
6B2iv Stoneybrook Development Contract
6B2v Stoneybrook Conservation Easement
6B2vi Miscellaneous pictures Stoneybrook Development
6B3 Recommendations concerning Golden Acre
6B4 Agenda Item 5A Golden Acre
6B5 Recommendations concerning Legacy Town homes
6B6 Recommendations concerning Integra Site.
6B7 Agenda Item 5A Integra Homes — The Preserve
6B8 Recommendations concerning Pheasant Stroll Estates
6B9 Agenda Item 5A Pheasant Stroll Estates
6B10 Agenda Item 5A Comforts of Home /PUD Development Estates
6B11 Woods Edge Landscape
6B12 6B12 - Email from Jeff Perry to Marty Asleson regarding Heron Research Project.
