•
poor level of service at Lake Drive (CSAH 23). It will also add a number of additional trips
onto both CSAH 14 and CSAH 23.
While we agree to continue to work with City staff and the developer on access issues and
improvements to the County Highway System as a condition of access (CSAH 14 mainline and the
CSAH 14 /CSAH 23 intersection), we cannot support the proposed full access on CSAH 14 as
described in the EAW. Again, we would like to invite city staff and the developer to discuss access to
the site and potential additional traffic analyses to address safety and mobility concerns presented by
the development.
Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to comment on the Nature's Refuge EAW. We hope
we can further discusses the issues highlighted in our letter and come to an understanding of how
access to the site will be provided. We hope to continue coordinating our efforts with the City of Lino
Lakes to improve transportation as the area continues to grow.
Please contact me to set up a time when we can continue our discussions on access to CSAH 14 and
the implications of the EAW.
Sine
J . ck Corkle, AICP
• Senior Multimodal Transportation Planner
cc: Douglas W.
