Council Member introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. CkVOS <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA <br />CITIES <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Sullivan was the recipient of a $500 prize <br />donated by the League of Minnesota Cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department <br />submitted an Essay on how they could best make use of <br />the money for their department; and; <br />WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to purchase a sound <br />system to enhance several recreation programs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $500.00 to purchase a sound <br />system for recreation programs and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to the League of Minnesota Cities for its donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of February, <br />1999. <br />Kimberly A. Sullivan <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
