Earth Day Resolution <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />1999 <br />We, the residents of Lino Lakes, do hereby support and celebrate Earth Day <br />1999 in the Quad Cities, <br />Whereas, the protection and preservation of the environment benefits all <br />people, <br />Whereas, the preservation of natural resources ensures the health and <br />happiness of generations to come, <br />Whereas, living a sustainable lifestyle helps maintain species diversity in all <br />kingdoms of life, <br />Whereas clean air, pure water, and rich topsoil are necessary for continuing <br />life systems, <br />Whereas, celebrating community promotes a safe, productive and vibrant <br />place to live, <br />Whereas, Earth Day is celebrated nationally on April 22rd, <br />Let it therefore be resolved that Saturday, April 24th 1998 be designated Quad <br />Cities Earth Day 1999 for the Cities of Lino Lakes, Centerville, Circle Pines, <br />and Lexington. <br />Mayor <br />Council Member Council Member <br />Council Member Council Member <br />
