STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />Vote Required: <br />AGENDA ITEM NO. 4A <br />Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br />May 17, 1999 <br />Resolution; Mountain Enterprises Donation <br />Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department will be holding its fourth Kite Day event on <br />Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Rice Lake Elementary School. This event is free to children in the <br />Quad City area It is great fun to see the children and their families assemble the kites and fly <br />them. <br />In previous years the kites were donated to the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department by <br />a vendor. This year the department has received a donation from Mountain Enterprises and the <br />Lino Lakes Lions Club. <br />Mountain Enterprises has donated $200 to help defer the cost of this event and to see that every <br />child has the potential of receiving a kite. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Accept donation from Mountain Enterprises and approve Resolution 99 -39. <br />2.
