Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-44 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT — 21ST <br />AVENUE LIFT STATION AND FORCEMAIN IMPROVEMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 21' Avenue Lift <br />Station and Forcemain Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Company Bid Amount <br />Burschville Construction, Inc. <br />Barbarossa and Sons, Inc. <br />Lametti and Sons, Inc. <br />S.R. Weidema, Inc. <br />$ 452,445.00 <br />$ 458,470.80 <br />$ 493,410.00 <br />$ 535,810.50 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Burschville Construction, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Burschville Construction, Inc., 11440 8th Street NE, Hanover, Minnesota, 55341, in the name <br />of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 21" Avenue Lift Station and Forcemain <br />Improvements according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br />made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest <br />bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of June, 1999. <br />Kimberly A.
