Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />DATE June 9, 1999 <br />TOPIC Consideration of Renewal of Liquor, 3.2 Beer <br />And Dance Licenses <br />VOTE REQUIRED Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Applications for renewal of all liquor licenses, 3.2 beer licenses and dance licenses were <br />included in the City Council packets. All application forms are complete, all certificates <br />of insurance have been received and all fees have been paid. <br />The Police Department has investigated each establishment owner and their managers. <br />No problems were noted in this investigation at this time <br />I have researched delinquent tax records and other financial records and find that all <br />financial obligations to the City are current. <br />These licenses must be renewed by July 1 or the liquor and beer licenses lapse and the <br />sale of liquor beverages, must cease. <br />OPTIONS: <br />Approve all applications for renewal of liquor, 3.2 beer and dance licenses. <br />Return the matter to staff for further information. <br />Do not approve the licenses. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No 1 <br />
