PECCHIA, CHIEF OF POLICE <br />JUNE 28, 1999 <br />CONSIDER PERMANENT FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT <br />OF TRAVIS MUYRES FOR POLICE OFFICER <br />3/5 VOTES <br />A vacancy was created by the resignation of Officer William Koch <br />in January 1999. Testing was conducted to find a replacement for <br />this position. The Lino Lakes Police Department is requesting to <br />hire Travis Muyres. <br />Travis has experience with community policing concepts such as <br />crime prevention activities. He has volunteer experience with <br />the Department of Natural Resources - Enforcement Division. He <br />has also volunteered his time as a wrestling coach with the <br />Spring Lake Park high school wrestling team. <br />His educational experience includes. B.S. Degree from the <br />University of Minnesota in natural resources. He completed his <br />skills training at the Minneapolis Community College. He <br />currently works as a loss prevention specialist for Cub Foods. <br />Please consider our recommendation to hire Travis Muyres as a <br />police officer for the City of Lino Lakes and authorize a <br />conditional job offer to Travis effective on or about July 15, <br />1999 upon successful completion of the background investigation, <br />psychological & medical examinations. <br />OPTIONS <br />1.
