AGENDA ITEM <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Marty Asleson <br />DATE: October 4, 1999 <br />TOPIC: Fall Boulevard Tree Quote Consideration <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Escrow dollars are put aside for planting one tree per frontage of each new lot of <br />each new development. Three quote requests were sent out to supply and plant <br />123 trees in these areas. One quote was received from Midwest Landscapes. <br />The total quote to supply, plants, mulch and guarantee 123 trees came to $20, <br />400. This is a budgeted item and the money again is recovered through the <br />development escrow accounts. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Accept the quote from Midwest Landscapes to supply and plant 123 trees on <br />the boulevards in this fail of 1999. <br />2. Do not accept this quote. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Accept the Midwest Landscape Quote. <br />
