AGENDA ITEM 6F <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE October 25, 1999 <br />TOPIC: PUBLIC HEARING - Resolution No 99 - 101, Adopt Assessment <br />Roll, Lakes Addition Street Reconstruction <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On September 13, 1999, the City Council set the Public Hearing for the <br />proposed assessments for the Lakes Addition Street Reconsturction project for <br />Monday, October 25, 1999. All necessary notices have been mailed to affected <br />property owners indicating the amount of the assessment and the date of the <br />hearing. <br />The project is substantially complete and can now be assessed. The <br />assessments associated with this project include Street Reconstruction and <br />Storm Sewer. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Retum to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No 99 - 101 adopting the assessment roll for the Lakes <br />Addition Street Reconstruction project. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends Option No 2, the adoption of Resolution 99 —101. <br />
