Proposed Project Description
AEC is proposing to install and construct an underground tie line in the area of the Otter
Bay and Oak Brook Peninsula developments. The proposed tie line is needed because of
the continued growth in this area. This tie line will ensure adequate voltage support
during peak electrical usage periods as well as increase the service reliability for this and
the surrounding area. AEC is proposing to install this underground line using a
directional boring method that will have very minimal disturbance for the length of the
proposed route in the park property.
Proposed Easement Description
In order to construct the proposed project, AEC requests an electrical easement 10 (ten)
feet wide each side of a line described in the following easement description:
Commencing at a point intersecting the northeasterly corner of
lot7, blockl, and the northwesterly corner of lot 6, block 1 of
Otter Bay, Anoka county, following a northwesterly direction to a
point intersecting the southwesterly corner of lot 2 block 1, and
the most easterly point of lot 3, block 1 of Oak Brook Peninsula,
Anoka county, all lying in Outlot A of West Oaks, Anoka County,
Section 36, Township 31, Range 22.
Existing Easements
AEC will utilize, where possible, the existing utility and drainage
easements which exist predominantly along the property lines of the
existing platted areas of Otter Bay and Oak Brook Peninsula.
Page 3
