AGENDA ITEM 6A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: David Ahrens, Public Works Director /City Engineer <br />DATE: January 26, 1998 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No 98 -07, Receive Feasibility Report and Cali Hearing <br />on Improvement - 21st Avenue Street and Utility Project <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On November 24, 1997, the Council ordered the preparation of a feasibility <br />report investigating the improvement of 21' Avenue by constructing street, storm <br />sewer, watermain and sanitary sewer. This project is proposed to extend from <br />Cedar Street to Main Street. The report is complete and staff is requesting <br />Council to receive the report and call a hearing on the improvement. The <br />hearing is scheduled for February 23, 1998, at which time staff and the <br />engineering consultant will provide a detailed review of the feasibility report. <br />In accordance with Minnesota State Statutes 429, and the Lino Lakes Charter <br />the feasibility report is to be received by council and a public hearing scheduled. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Retum to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution Number 98 -07 receiving the feasibility report and calling for <br />a hearing on improvements. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends to Council to adopt Resolution Number 98 -07. <br />
