agrees, through its departmental agencies, to cooperate to the fullest extent in the <br />protection of any excavations or barricades that may be necessary for the work performed <br />by Lino Lakes. <br />2. The total cost (except those associated with the sale of bonds and special <br />assessments) of the Project, including, without limitation, construction costs, legal, <br />administrative and engineering fees, shall be allocated between Lino Lakes and <br />Centerville proportionately, 50% to Lino Lakes and 50% to Centerville. <br />3. Each city has the right to terminate Agreement prior to award of construction <br />contract. <br />4. Each municipality shall be solely responsible for their share of the costs of <br />the Project. Each municipality shall be responsible for the sale of bonds, if any, and levy <br />of special assessments against properties within their cities boundaries. <br />5. Centerville shall pay to Lino Lakes monthly, as certain portions of the <br />construction are completed, the Project amounts then due and payable for work <br />completed. Upon completion of the entire Project, Centerville will make the final <br />payment after receiving the final cost statements from Lino Lakes for the completed <br />Project. <br />6. Each municipality shall obtain property or right of way easements within <br />their municipal boundaries prior to award of contract that are needed for the Project and <br />the costs shall be paid separately by each city. <br />7. Before this Agreement shall become binding and effective it shall be <br />approved by an appropriate resolution of the City Council of Lino Lakes and of the City <br />Council of Centerville, which shall be attached hereto as Exhibits C and D, respectively. <br />
