COUNCIL MINUTES <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />MARCH 23, 1998 <br />DATE : March 23, 1998 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:35 P.M. <br />TIME ENDED : 7:53 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Members Bergeson, Lyden, and Neal, and <br />Mayor Sullivan <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : Council Member Dahl <br />Staff members present: Interim City Administrator, Dave Pecchia; City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; <br />City Engineer/Public Works Director, David Ahrens; Community Development Director, Brian <br />Wessel; Planning Coordinator, Mary Kay Wyland; and City Clerk, Marilyn Anderson <br />Mayor Sullivan updated the public as to the status of the Lino Lakes area code issue, explaining <br />that it has been resolved to the PUC's satisfaction, with the entire municipal area included within <br />the 651 area code. This represents a victory for Lino Lakes, as the City's single community <br />environment will remain intact. <br />Additionally, Mayor Sullivan pointed out that there was a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new <br />Fairview Regional Health Center, attended by economic development staff, Council members, <br />and Donna Carlson of the Citizens Advisory Group, among others. The opening of the Health <br />Center signals completion of the first piece of the overall Town Center project. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />The Agenda was approved as presented. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Council Member Neal moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Council Member Lyden <br />seconded the motion.
