Earth Day Resolution <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />1998 <br />We, the residents of the City of Lino Lakes, do hereby support and celebrate Earth Day <br />1998 in the communities of the Quad Cities, <br />Whereas, the protection and preservation of the environment benefits all people, <br />Whereas, the proper conservation of natural resources ensures the health and happiness of <br />generations to come, <br />Whereas, living a sustainable lifestyle helps maintain species diversity in all Kingdoms of <br />Life: Plants, Fungi, Bacteria, Animals, and Protoctista, <br />Whereas clean air, pure water, and rich soil are necessary for continuing life systems, <br />Whereas, celebrating community promotes a safe, productive and vibrant community, <br />Whereas, Earth Day is celebrated nationally on April 22nd, <br />Let it therefore be resolved that Saturday, April 25th, 1998 be designated Quad Cities <br />Earth Day 1998 for the Cities of Lino Lakes, Lexington, Circle Pines and Centerville. <br />Mayor <br />Council Member Council Member <br />Council Member Council Member <br />
