MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: May 19, 1998 <br />TO: Kim Sullivan, Mayor <br />Andy Neal, Councilmember <br />John Bergeson, Councilmember <br />Caroline Dahl, Councilmember <br />Chris Lyden, Councilmember <br />Dave Pecchia, Interim City Administrator <br />FROM: Pete Kluegel, Building Official <br />RE: First Quarter Building Report <br />A total of 76 building permits were issued through March 31, 1998. Total construction <br />value was $8,699,334. This compares with the first quarter of 1997 at 62 total permits <br />with a valuation of $5,083,290. 32 new single family dwelling permits have been issued <br />in 1998. This total includes 5 town house units and 2 mobile homes. In the commercial <br />area a 894,000 permit for the C- Store, 7090 21st Avenue has been issued. The industrial <br />sector had 4 building permits totaling 2,700,000 issued. These projects include office <br />warehouse property buildings on Apollo Drive $440,000. Noltec office manufactured <br />warehouse addition on Apollo Drive $600,00. Moline Concrete addition $1,500,000 <br />Lilac Street and Schwing America Remodel Otter Lake Drive.
