INTERIM MUSA RESERVE CRITERIA <br />The Metropolitan Council recently approved the allocation of 150 net acres of MUSA <br />Reserve to the City of Lino Lakes to be allocated to properties located south and east of <br />the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Reserve. These 150 net acres are intended <br />to be allocated on an interim basis through 1997 -98. <br />Application of Interim MUSA Reserve shall be subject to the following: <br />1. An application for MUSA Reserve shall be considered at time of Preliminary <br />Plat Approval and allocated at time of Final Plat following completion of a <br />development agreement and posting of financial guarantees. <br />2. The property in question shall be zoned R -1 or R -1X or a rezoning application <br />be in process in conjunction with the preliminary plat. <br />3. The property in question must be immediately adjacent to existing MUSA. <br />4. MUSA Reserve shall be allocated to net buildable acres. <br />5. Development of the property must be considered a natural utility extension. <br />6. Development of the property must be considered a natural extension of existing <br />roadways. <br />7. Development of the property shall not adversely affect the health, welfare, and <br />general safety of the community. <br />8. Development of the property shall be environmentally compatible with the <br />surrounding area. <br />9. Development of the property shall be consistent with the City's Comprehensive <br />Park Plan. <br />10. MUSA Reserve shall be allocated only to properties located within Sewer <br />District 1, 4s, 6 and the Behm's Century Farms Development within Sewer <br />District No. 2. <br />
