Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 86 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY, <br />OTTER LAKE ROAD REALIGNMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes desires to administer the Otter Lake Road <br />Realignment Project in accordance with the Joint Powers Agreement of Construction of <br />Realigned Otter Lake Road from Cedar Street to Main Street, <br />AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state <br />to enter into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. the Joint Powers Agreement, Anoka County Contract No. 960537, is hereby <br />approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign <br />said agreement. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8' day of June, 1998. <br />Kimberly A. Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
