Council Member <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 95 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX LIONS <br />CLUB <br />WHEREAS, the City is a member of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association; <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, the City sends all of their youth recreational coaches to the certification <br />classes offered by this association; and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has supported the City's effort to certify all <br />youth coaches; and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has made a contribution of $1,000.00 to defer <br />some of the costs of this program, and <br />WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue - Contributions <br />Increase Expenditures <br />National Youth Sports Coaches Assn. <br />$1,000.00 <br />$1,000.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes hereby accepts <br />the donation of $1,000.00 to cover one -half of the certification fee for this summers youth <br />sports coaches and wishes to express its gratitude to the Circle -Lex Lions Club for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of June, 1998. <br />Kimberly A.
