Council Member introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 98 -110 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING INTO THE CITY OF LINO LAKES PERSONNEL <br />POLICY, BONE MARROW DONATION LEAVE <br />WHEREAS, State Statute dictates that a regular or probationary, full -time or temporary <br />employee who seeks to undergo a medical procedure to donate bone <br />marrow shall be granted up to 40 hours of paid leave, and <br />WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes Personnel Policy Handbook is the most appropriate <br />document to make employees aware of their rights and benefits, <br />NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby incorporates into the Lino Lakes Personnel Policy Handbook the attached <br />Bone Marrow Donation Leave Policy. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th Day of July, 1998. <br />Kim Sullivan, Mayor <br />Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk/Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />
