Pecchia, Chief of Police <br />DATE July 27, 1998 <br />TOPIC Consideration of Resolution No 98 121 <br />Accepting Donation from the Final <br />Stretch, Inc. for Reserve equipment. <br />(raincoats, hats, flashlights, and glove <br />and radio holders). <br />BACKGROUND <br />Final Stretch, Inc. has donated $300.00 to the Lino Lakes <br />Police Department to be used to purchase raincoats, hats, <br />flashlights, and glove /radio holders for the Reserve <br />Officers. Several of the Reserve Officers donated their <br />time to provide security during a recent 30k, 10 mile run <br />event by Final Stretch, Inc. Final Stretch, Inc. is aware <br />of their equipment needs and has donated $300.00 for the <br />cost of this equipment. The purpose of Resolution No 98 -1211 <br />is to publicly thank Final Stretch, Inc. for their <br />generous donation. <br />OPTIONS <br />Adopt Resolution No. 98 - 121 accepting the donation. <br />Return the Resolution to staff for further information. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option N . 1 <br />
