CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />Ordinance No. 03 -96 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 502 OF THE LINO LAKES CITY CODE <br />(Animal Ordinance) <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota does ordain: <br />Section 1. Section 502, Dogs, is hereby repealed and replaced <br />with the following: <br />A copy of the entire Ordinance No. 03 -96 can be obtained by <br />calling the Lino Lakes City Hall at 464 -5562. Following is a brief <br />summary of the items contained in that Ordinance: <br />- Expanded Definitions Section <br />- Maximum number of dogs allowed - two (2) <br />- Amended "barking" language <br />- All dogs must be licensed with proper vaccinations <br />- Private kennels allowed in any zoning district upon five (5) <br />acres of land or more with a conditional use permit. Limit <br />of four (4) dogs per private kennel. <br />- Incorporates provisions for "wild and /or dangerous animals" <br />- Feces disposal required <br />- All dogs must be kept under restraint by their owners at all <br />times. <br />- Incorporates State Statute requirements to aid in <br />enforcement <br />Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after 30 days following its passage and <br />publication, in accordance with Section 3.09 of the City Charter. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th <br />day of July, 1996. <br />
