TKDA
TOLTZ, KING, DUVALL, ANDERSON
AND ASSOCIATES, INCORPORATED
ENGINEERS • ARCHITECTS • PLANNERS
August 18, 1998
Mr. Brian Wessel
Community Development Director
1189 Main Street
Lino Lakes, Minnesota 55014
Re: City Staff Re- organization
City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota
Commission No. 10414 -98A
Dear Mr. Wessel:
1500 PIPER JAFFRAY PLAZA
444 CEDAR STREET
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA 55101 -2140
PHONE:612/292 -4400 FAX:612/292 -0083
This letter confirms our recent discussions regarding re- assignment of the City Engineer's
responsibilities as this staff position no longer exists. After thorough consideration, I accept the
City's appointment to serve as City Engineer through December of 1999.
I have already relocated my daily activities to City Hall where I can be immediately accessible to
City Staff and inquiries from the public. I continue to be bound by the conditions and
obligations contained in TKDA's agreement with the City of Lino Lakes for Professional
Services, including liability coverage. We will also provide technical staff, as needed, to
complete the tasks initiated by the City's Engineering Technician.
As the City Engineer has the responsibility of managing the City's Municipal State Aid system,
submitting reports and permit applications to governmental agencies, and serving as the lead
technical contact for the City on various issues; the City Council should formalize my
appointment at their next regular meeting.
Sinc
oft/
J. n M. owell, P.E.
ssociate
jmp
c: D. Pecchia, Interim City Administrator
An Equal Opportunity Employer
