AGE A ITEM 4D <br />STAFF MEMBER Daniel Ted, Director of Administration <br />DATE 9 Septmr 1998 <br />SUBJECT Restrcturing \Phase IilSalary Negotiations <br />BACKGROUND <br />One aspect of Phase II of the city's recent restructuring was the re- negotiation of <br />aries with certain affected LLMA and non -union employees. An agreement has been <br />reached, and will need to be approved by the city council. <br />Attached are the new salary ranges for affected employees and a <br />recommendation for salary placement effective 10 August 1998 (the Building Official <br />effective date would be 17 August due to his Iving out of town). Recommendations have <br />been highlighted with a box. <br />The LLMA contract is due to be re- negotiate <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approve the salary recommendations <br />2. Return to staff for additional negotiations. <br />
