AGENDA <br />A. Consideration of Accepting the Resignation of Officer Fossum (Officer <br />Fossum has submitted his resignation from the Police Department. <br />Dave explained this part -time position was being eliminated which <br />means that the Lino Lakes Police Department consists of all full -time, <br />licensed peace officers. Council voted to accept the resignation and <br />wished Officer Fossum well in the future.) <br />8. Old Business (none) <br />9. New Business <br />A. Consideration of the 49ner's Three (3) Year Contract, Dan Tesch (Dan <br />presented the 49ner's Contract and noted several provisions including <br />a 3% salary increase each year, added severance language, added <br />compensation time language, increased life insurance benefits, and <br />increased pay differential for heavy equipment operators. The <br />contract was approved unanimously.) <br />B. Update Regarding Appointment of a New City Administrator, David <br />Pecchia (Dave explained that the City Council had met earlier this <br />evening and decided to offer an employment contract to a specific <br />candidate. A new City Administrator should be appointed and on the <br />job before the end of the year.) <br />C. City Board and Commission Appointments (Dan explained that the City <br />will receive applications for membership on any of the board until <br />December 31, 1998.) <br />D. Christmas Toys Distribution (Andy explained that toys for needy <br />children will be distributed this week. Anyone who knows a needy <br />child that could benefit from this program should contact him.) <br />10. Community Calendar December 15, 1998, through December 21, 1998 <br />A.
