• <br />Memorandum <br />DATE: December 4, 1998 <br />TO: Mary Kay Wyland <br />FROM: John Powell, City Engineer <br />RE: Construction Laborer's Educati n and Training Center <br />I have reviewed the preliminary plans for the referenced project which were submitted by their <br />Architect, BKPV, on November 17, 1998. My comments on this preliminary document are as <br />follows: <br />1. Drainage /infiltration calculations have not been submitted. <br />2. Any approval must be contingent upon their satisfaction of the Minnesota Wetland <br />Conservation Act requirements as determined by the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />3. A complete erosion control plan has not been submitted. <br />4. No mechanical, sanitary sewer, or water information is provided on the plans. The Training <br />Center has requested City utility service but the installation of City utilities will not be <br />completed until the Spring of 1999. This should not affect the proposed project schedule as <br />the ground breaking date is May 2, 1999. It is our understanding the preferred service <br />location is now the north side of the property. <br />5. The City indicated on the grading plan must be changed to Lino Lakes. <br />I look forward to reviewing the detailed plans when they become available <br />• <br />
