• <br />• <br />• <br />Council MembersTOLTZ introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09-61 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTRACT — 2009 <br />SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of 2009 Surface <br />Water Management Projects, quotes were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following quotes were received complying with the request: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />Penn Contracting, Inc. $ 96,890.00 <br />Arnt Construction Co. $ 100,588.80 <br />CW Houle, Inc. $ 105,999.00 <br />Rehbein Companies $ 134,772.65 <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />$ 98,775.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Penn Contracting, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the <br />construction of the 2009 Surface Water Management Project. <br />Kathi Gallup, Ac ' g Mayor <br />e Bartell, C ty Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th day of August, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member O'Donnell and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Stoltz, O' Donnnell, Reinert, Gallup <br />The following voted against same: <br />None (absent - Bergeson) <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
