Reinert <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -64 <br />Approving the Centennial School District Contract for Youth Resource Officer <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the Centennial School District wish to participate in <br />a Youth Resource Officer Program; and <br />WHEREAS, both the City and the School District agree that a more formalized approach to <br />the Youth Resource Officer Program is needed to improve understanding and promote <br />mutual respect between police, school, staff, counselors, parents and students; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this agreement is to set forth in writing the terms and conditions <br />of the mutual duties and obligations and to create, fund and implement the position of <br />Youth Resource Officer; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members do <br />411 hereby approve the Centennial School District Contract for Youth Resource Officer. <br />Julie : artell, ity erk <br />n Be 'g - n, Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of September 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Memberstoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Reinert, Stoltz, Gallup, O "Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />
