• <br />O'Donnell <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09-85 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 07 -09 <br />FOR PUBLICATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved first and second reading of Ordinance No. <br />07 -09, creating chapter 607 of the city code relating to a tax imposed upon lodging; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 07 -09 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city <br />to publish a summary of an ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of <br />the intent and effect of the ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full <br />printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall, <br />• NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council approves the summary <br />in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. <br />• <br />Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of October 2009. <br />lIf�i <br />John , Berg / on, i" ayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />MemberGallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: O'Donnell, Gallup, Reinert, Stoltz, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
