• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -103 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT <br />21ST AVENUE REALIGNMENT <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 21st Avenue between 21st Avenue and a new <br />intersection with CSAH 14, proposed to be constructed approximately 550 feet easterly <br />of the present 21st Avenue alignment, by grading, storm sewer, bituminous surfacing, <br />curb and gutter, water main, sanitary sewer, sidewalk and street lights and to assess <br />the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429 and the City Charter, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to TKDA, Inc., the City's Engineer, for study <br />in the amount of $16,300 and that they are instructed to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made <br />as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate <br />individual assessments for affected parce <br />Bartell, City <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of November, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br />Reinert, Roeser, Gallup, O'Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
