• • • Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 09 -103 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT 21ST AVENUE REALIGNMENT WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 21st Avenue between 21st Avenue and a new intersection with CSAH 14, proposed to be constructed approximately 550 feet easterly of the present 21st Avenue alignment, by grading, storm sewer, bituminous surfacing, curb and gutter, water main, sanitary sewer, sidewalk and street lights and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429 and the City Charter, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement be referred to TKDA, Inc., the City's Engineer, for study in the amount of $16,300 and that they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parce Bartell, City Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of November, 2009. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Reinert, Roeser, Gallup, O'Donnell, Bergeson The following voted against same: none Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
