CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION August 11, 2014 <br />APPROVED <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />3 <br />4 DATE : August ll, 2014 <br />5 TIME STARTED : 6:05 p.m. <br />6 TIME ENDED : 6:25 p.m. <br />7 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Stoesz, Kusterman, <br />8 Rafferty, Roeser (6:20 p.m.) and Mayor Reinert <br />9 MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director <br />13 Michael Grochala; City Planner Katie Larsen; Finance Director Al Rolek; City Engineer Diane <br />14 Hankee; Police Captain Kelly McCarthy; City Clerk Julie Bartell <br />15 <br />16 1. South Fire Station Site Selection- Community Development Director Grochala introduced <br />17 Quinn Hutson of CNH Architects. Mr. Hutson reviewed the Fire House #2 — Site Analysis <br />18 before the council. He specifically pointed out the drive -time analysis and matrix element <br />19 comparison included in the report. The council asked questions regarding area utilities, flood <br />20 plains and site preferences. Mr. Hutson explained that the analysis review will continue but he <br />21 did want the council to see where the process is going. Mayor Reinert indicated that the council <br />22 will continue its review at the September work session.
