Council Member O'Donnell introduced the following resolution and moved <br />40 its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -27 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT <br />I -35E /CSAH 14 (MAIN ST.) INTERCHANGE <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the I -35E /CSAH 14 (Main Street) interchange <br />between 21st Avenue and Otter Lake Road by bridge replacement and widening, <br />roadway replacement and widening, reconstruction of existing freeway ramps and <br />construction of new ramps, installation of traffic control signals, improvement to local <br />road connections and construction of pedestrian /bicycle facilities and to assess the <br />benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429 and the City Charter, and <br />WHEREAS, the number of benefitted property owners is estimated at 30 and will be <br />determined as part of the report, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to SRF Consulting Group, Inc., for study <br />and that they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising <br />the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, <br />cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement, the estimated cost of the improvement as <br />recommended both in unit price and total thereof, and a description of the methodology <br />used to calculate individual assessmenaffec ed parcels. <br />John erg •/ ! ayor <br />ATTE T: <br />Bartell, C ty Cle <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of April, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br />O'Donnell, Gallup, Stoltz, Reinert, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
