• <br />• <br />• <br />Stoltz <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -31 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM THE LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB IN <br />SUPPORT OF THE SCHOOL SAFETY PATROL APPRECIATION DAY AND THE <br />SENIOR SAFETY FAIR FOR 2009 <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club supports the efforts of community events such as <br />the School Safety Patrol Appreciation Day as well as the Senior Safety Fair; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department provides support to the School Safety <br />Patrol Appreciation Day at Mall of America; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department will be presenting the Senior Safety Fair <br />on May 19th; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has donated $1,340 for expenses incurred for the <br />School Safety Patrol Appreciation Day; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has also donated $500 towards expenses for the <br />Senior Safety Fair; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following manner: <br />Increase Revenue — Contributions 101 - 3720 -000 $1,840.00 <br />Increase Police Expenditure <br />(101- 420 - 4214 -000 Crime Prevention) <br />$1,840.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members, do <br />hereby accept the donation of $1,840.00 and wishes to express its gratitude to the Lino <br />Lakes Lions Club for the donation. <br />ie = artell, Cit Cler <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of May, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />to , Gallup, O'Donnell Reinert, Bergeson <br />The flolliowing voted against sAme: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
