Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -43 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT <br />AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br />I -35E /CSAH 14 INTERCHANGE <br />Whereas, pursuant to Resolution NO. 09 -27 adopted by the council on April 27, 2009, a <br />report has been prepared by SRF Consulting Group, Inc., with reference to the I- <br />35E/CSAH 14 Interchange, to make improvements including the reconstruction of the <br />interchange between 21st Avenue and Otter Lake Road by bridge replacement and <br />widening, roadway replacement and widening, reconstruction of existing freeway ramps <br />and construction of new ramps, installation of traffic control signals, improvement to <br />local road connections and construction of pedestrian /bicycle facilities, and <br />WHEREAS, this report was received by the council on July 6, 2009, and <br />• WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />• <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The council hereby accepts the feasibility report, prepared by SRF Consulting <br />Group, dated July 6, 2009. <br />2. The council will consider such improvements in accordance with the report and the <br />assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the <br />improvement of $23,000,000. <br />3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27 day of July, <br />2009 in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:30 p.m. and the clerk shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, C' Clerk <br />
