Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 09 -43 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT I -35E /CSAH 14 INTERCHANGE Whereas, pursuant to Resolution NO. 09 -27 adopted by the council on April 27, 2009, a report has been prepared by SRF Consulting Group, Inc., with reference to the I- 35E/CSAH 14 Interchange, to make improvements including the reconstruction of the interchange between 21st Avenue and Otter Lake Road by bridge replacement and widening, roadway replacement and widening, reconstruction of existing freeway ramps and construction of new ramps, installation of traffic control signals, improvement to local road connections and construction of pedestrian /bicycle facilities, and WHEREAS, this report was received by the council on July 6, 2009, and • WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible. • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. The council hereby accepts the feasibility report, prepared by SRF Consulting Group, dated July 6, 2009. 2. The council will consider such improvements in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $23,000,000. 3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27 day of July, 2009 in the council chambers of the city hall at 6:30 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
