• <br />• <br />Council Member ve se r introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -29 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />AD FOR BIDS, PINE STREET, ZODIAC STREET AND HOWARD LAKE DRIVE <br />PAVING IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 28th day of September 2009 a date for a <br />council hearing on the proposed paving improvements of Pine Street from Lake Drive to 4th <br />Avenue by paving a bituminous surface, <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 26th day of October, 2009, at which all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, <br />AND WHEREAS, The costs to pave Pine Street will be split as a 50% - 50% cost share with the <br />City of Columbus and it is proposed to finance the project with special assessments assessed <br />100% to the benefited property owners, <br />AND WHEREAS, this improvement project will be subject to a Joint Powers Agreement <br />between the City of Columbus and the City of Lino Lakes Regarding the Pine Street Paving <br />Improvements and Maintenance, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the council on January 25, 2010, TKDA has <br />prepared plans and specifications for the paving improvement of Pine Street and has presented <br />such plans and specifications to the council for approval, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the <br />Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement under <br />such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 3 weeks, <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk, at which <br />• time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk and Engineer, will then <br />be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 6:30 p.m. on May 24, 2010, in the <br />
