Council Member o' Donnell <br />its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -52 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS <br />BIRCH STREET AND WARE ROAD INTERSECTION <br />WHEREAS, the intersection of Birch Street and Ware Road is currently experiencing <br />growing congestion and safety problems; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 2010 the City approved Resolution 10 -32 authorizing the <br />preparation of a Signal Justification Report for the Birch Street and Ware Road <br />Intersection; and <br />WHEREAS, the city desires that a concept layout and a construction cost estimate be <br />prepared. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />• 3. That preparation of a Report on Improvements for the Birch Street and Ware <br />Road intersection is hereby authorized. <br />4. That the staff is hereby authorized to enter into a professional services <br />agreement with TKDA, the city engineer, for the preparation of said report, in the <br />not to exceed amount of $8,100. <br />ATTE <br />Jeff Reine , ayor <br />Bartell, City ler <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14t" day of June, 2010. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member RopsPr and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br />O'Donnell, Roeser, RAfferty, Gallup, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
