In conjunction with the District 53A Republican organization, Mr. Keefe is <br />proposing an All American Pig Roast, a fundraiser /family outing on August 12, 2010 <br />between the hours of 4:00 and 10:00 p.m. A special permit for this event was approved <br />by the City Council on July 26, 2010. <br />The event sponsor, District 53A Republicans, would also like to obtain a Temporary 1 -4 <br />Day Liquor License to allow the sale of beverages at this event. The group has submitted <br />an application for a temporary liquor license and the application has been reviewed by city <br />staff. The application meets city requirements and background information on the applicant <br />is on file at City Hall. <br />Therefore, staff is presenting for council consideration a resolution authorizing issuance of <br />a temporary liquor license to House District 53A Republicans. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 10 -69, authorizing a special <br />event permit for House District 53A Republicans, for the All American <br />Pig Roast event <br />2. Deny approval of Resolution 10 -69 <br />
