• <br />Council Member°' Donnellintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 -84 <br />ACCEPTING A GRANT AWARD FROM THE OFFICE OF <br />ENERGY SECURITY FOR ENERGY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes was selected by the Office of Energy Security to <br />receive a grant for energy efficiency improvements through the Facility Cost -Share <br />Grant Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the grant award is in the amount of $89,937 and requires a 50% match, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the grant application consisted of energy improvement projects at the Civic <br />Complex, Public Works facility, and Centennial Fire Station #2, and <br />WHEREAS, the above projects will result in excess of $13,000 in energy savings <br />annually. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the grant award from the State of Minnesota and authorizes staff to <br />execute the grant agreement with the required matching funds designated from the <br />Municipal Buildings & Facilities Fund. <br />ATTEST: <br />Jeff Rei - , ayor <br />Julie Bartell, ity C erk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of September 2010. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: o' Donnell, Gallup, Rafferty, Roeser, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />• Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
