Council MemberEtoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -06 <br />WHEREAS; The City of Lino Lakes has entered into agreement with Anoka <br />County over the years to cooperatively work on Solid Waste abatement and <br />Recycling, <br />AND WHEREAS; Anoka County receives funding from the Solid Waste <br />management Coordinating Board and the State of Minnesota in the form of <br />"SCORE" funds, <br />AND WHEREAS; The County wishes to assist Municipalities in meeting <br />recycling goals established by the Anoka County Board of Commissioners by <br />providing SCORE funds to Cities in the County for solid waste recycling <br />programs' <br />AND WHEREAS; The City of Lino Lakes is eligible to receive $39,574.72 for <br />fiscal year 2008 in SCORE funds, <br />AND WHEREAS; Anoka County Agreement No. 2007 -0265 provides for the <br />cooperative effort between Anoka County and the City of Lino Lakes, <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />• <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Anoka <br />County Agreement No. 2007 -0265, Agreement for Residential Recycling <br />Program on behalf of the city. <br />n e Bartel, City Ierk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of January, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Stoltz, Gallup, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />None -- Absent - Reinert, O'Donnell <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
