• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Reinert <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08-13 <br />CONCURRING WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT A NOISE WALL ALONG <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF 35W FROM SUNSET ROAD TO SAVANNAH COURT <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) plans to construct a <br />noise wall from Sunset Road to Savannah Court as shown on the attached preliminary <br />plans; and <br />WHEREAS, in order for MNDOT to proceed with the preparation of plans, concurrence <br />is needed from the Lino Lakes City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the majority of the property owners adjacent to the proposed noise wall <br />project are aware of and support the project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes herby concurs with the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation proposal to construct a noise wall on the north <br />side of 35W from Sunset Road to Savannah Court. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of January, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Reinert, Gallup, O'Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none (Stoltz absent) <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
