(a) The maximum individual tenant sign sizes for multiple occupancy structures and <br />individual uses which may display signs shall not exceed the maximum provisions for single <br />occupancy structures in the same zoning district. <br />(b) Multiple occupancy structures may display an area identification sign consistent <br />with the applicable district provisions. Individual freestanding signs identifying the tenants' <br />business shall not be displayed. Twenty five percent of the area identification sign must <br />identify the entire site, the balance of the sign may be used for individual tenant <br />identification. <br />(c) Except as provided in this chapter, individual tenants of multiple occupancy <br />exterior entrance. The number of signs shall be limited to one per building facade that the <br />frontage, and each sign shall be limited to the maximum wall size sign permitted per building <br />facade rin the district, the total of which shall not exceed the square footage allowed. <br />(d) In any multiple occupancy structure qualifying as a mall type shopping center, <br />directory signs shall be permitted for each common public entrance. The size of individual business identification signing within the <br />directory shall be established during the site plan review process. Attention shall be given to <br />(12) Any signs not specifically allowed by this chapter are prohibited. <br />(13) Dynamic display signs, whether permanent or temporary, are prohibited in all <br />zoning districts except those with a dynamic display area that is less than 20 square feet. <br />(14) Street addresses required to comply with address ordinances or building codes do <br />not require a sign permit. <br />(1) (a) For the purposes of this chapter, a flag symbolizing a government or <br />political subdivision, or a branch or department of a government or political <br />subdivision, is considered noncommercial speech and is not regulated by this <br />flags are on flagpoles that are permanently mounted in the ground or mounted on <br />a building.
